do not like fork. or seat tube cutout that doesnt contour the actual wheel or seemingly allow for slammage.

Scrod,

I really dig that you sell products/brands that you use and truly stand behind. That being said, how good is Sugino, really? I've never ridden their gear, but have read a lot of mixed reviews.

Also, do your SRAM brake levers come in pairs? If so, damn good price.

The welds on that State frame are like the ones on the 721, not smooth like the 725.

These welds on the Contender scare me a bit. Not having anyone carry these locally, sucks.

Ever took a good look at one? The specs seem decent for the price.

What's wrong with Visp? My son rides one to uni and no-one's even tried to steal it.

Oh my goodness. That looks like what happened when i tried to patch up an expansion chamber exhaust with a wire feed MIG. FYI that was the only welding i've ever done in my life.

quick question about looking at stem and the degree for the stem. My leader 725 has a headtube angle of 74*. Would i look for whatever adds up closes to 90* if i want the stem to be parallel to the ground?

got my hands on a used set of 7710 cranks. i have heard of the problems with installation causing slip in the splined interface. well i guess i figured out how i got them at the price i did. is there a great safety risk of using them if there is slight play in the nds crank? any remedies?

I currently have a 10 degree Thomson (flipped upside down) on my 725 and it's pretty much parallel to the top tube.

I know you can remedy a slightly enlarged square taper interface with aluminum foil but I'm not sure how you'd go about it with splines.

Cool I'll probably grab one of those nitto stems to go along with my new nitto handlebars...that is once i can get the money to get rims, headset, and crankset, chain and cog for my new summer build.

Bikes: Panasonic '88 Dx3000, Specialized Hardrock ('06?)

what are your opinion on Panasonic bikes from around '88? I have the Dx3000 from that year, and I'm gonna convert it to fixed this summer.

(this isn't my bike, but its the same frame)
