Dave, you and Angie screen print all the RG shirts yourselves right? Can you PM me how the process happens and a good way to start? A simple reply is fine, I'll go ahead and Google it. I'm sure you know a bunch of secrets though. ;)

Too many /notScrods and my question got buried!
Also, when you die, Viking funeral? |
Seriously. I have no idea what could be causing that. Can you duplicate it when not on the bike and try pinpointing what area it's coming from?
When I die, no funeral. Funeral services are an incredible waste of time/money and no one ever wants to go to them. If those closest to me wish to get together and have a good time laughing and remembering our times together instead of sobbing over my awkwardly stiff body lying in a box, that's cool with me. |

I want a party, with a wax statue of me instead of seeing my corpse, and then push me out into Lake Michigan in a boat and blow it up. Viking funeral meets Hunter S. Thompson. |
Scrod,
Thanks for the prompt delivery! Now I have to wait for my tools. Damn Amazon... I shouldn't had been the one to fulfill my friend's free shipping. Do I still have to lube the KMC K710SL and my cog prior to installation? I noticed the chain is already lubed. |
Dear Scrod,
On a scale of 1 to 7,677,351 how would you rate this $18 Portland Design Works wrench? http://cache1.bigcartel.com/product_...encho-1-wm.jpg |
That's a pretty large scale. I will say that I like mine a lot.

Really? Sheldon says its good stuff.

It's only good for a couple of rain days. Around here you don't have to wait long for a couple of rain days, then you gotta wash, wipe and lube.
Fair weather cyclists are on a different schedule. |
quoting you from another thread...

No prob. Also keep in mind that Paselas run a little small. My 25s measure closer to 23.
there was a tire thread way back with the same theme...that paselas run small. i can't remember whether it referred specifically to tgs or not. at the time i was looking for tires, went for the regular paselas to save a few bux & got 25s cuz i wanted to try smaller tires but was not quite ready to commit to 23s, so it seemed like a good compromise based on the info posted in that discussion. well...the 25c paselas (not tg) that i got ran huge...much bigger than my previous 25s. in fact they are close to 28 & there is almost no clearance under the front brake. the reason i question this is that it is time for new tires on another bike & i was leaning towards going with the pasela tgs this go-round. but i want bigger tires on this bike & the discrepancy in my experience from others has me concerned about what size i should order. |
I've never used regular Paselas so I'm not really sure.

Okay, just double checking.

Scrod, can you help me understand what's going on here:

Scrod,
Overhaul the bearings in my rear hub to get ready for the snow (the wheel has seen a couple thousand miles and is overall pretty muffed up on top of this) or save a little extra cash and build up a new rear wheel? Thanks! |

My 25c Pasela TGs measure 23.7 mm on my digital caliper. It's weird that the standard Pasela would differ so much in size.

Cold Fusions aren't even rebadged Fusions. They are Fusions. I bought a pair from IRO and they arrived in original Velocity packaging. The only thing that said "IRO" was the shipping invoice.

Getting in touch with IRO is absolutely stupid.

An Alex DA16 laced to some no-name hub, probably just an unbranded formula, or something along those lines. If I went the route of a new wheel I think I'd either a) go smart and economical (kinlin/novatec), or b) get a second cxp33 to complete the wheelset. Interested to see what you think more though, obviously
