any experience with these frames? Yes, they are new, first time I have seen them. Looks to be a decent price for a street fix.
Price looks fair too.

I think the price seems a bit high--maybe $100 over Taiwanese construction--but that's the price you pay for American made. Seems like a decent frame though I've also never heard of them. It's True Temper steel, so I'm guessing 4130. Looks nice other than it has a more relaxed road geometry (which may be good for some, just not what I like).

The real question, I think, is this: Is it enough better than an IRO to justify the extra $200 for the complete bike or $100 for the frame?
(I've ridden neither, but I hear nothing but good stuff about IROs, both on this board and elsewhere.)

The top tube even slopes the wrong way! Fender eyelets - shudder.
I like that it is made here and the price is okay. But if you want a fixed-gear roadbike you can probably buy at least 3 decent used roadframes for the same money and these will most likely even be lugged.

the price is too high compared what you can get elsewhere.
oh yeah, and putting stickers on a taiwan frame in the US makes it "made in US"

Now I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure Wisconsin is a city in Chicago.

I've heard a few good things about the milwaukee stuff but no technical details, it certainly got a cool factor to it being welded here in NA and relatively rare...I'd check out their direct prices before paying $350 on Ebay, seems like you should get a fork with that for $350US
I also wouldn't buy it unless I knew more about the cats making it, but there is no info to be had except that they are exclusive to Ben's Cycles. Being secretive is no way to get a rep for good welding/frames

anyone want to speculate on the frame builder?
My thoughts are: Wisconsin+TIG-ed steel+Semi-compact Road Geometry+those track ends with fender eyelets = Waterford/Gunnar?
Call me crazy?
