Food
What are you lovely folks eating? I'm broke as hell, so I haven't been eating a lot. It's been ramen and froot loops for me lately. Also, what's the best meal you've ever eaten? I had a Mangalitsa pork 12 course at Blackbird when I worked there. Every course including dessert had pork. Fantastic.

Meh. Typical college food. Roommates made some tonight.

Club w/ pepperjack, bacon, lettuce, cucumber, spinach, sweet onion sauce and vinegar. I put jalapeno chips in there for crunch. Just finished it, didn't have a chance to take pictures. I liked it. |

I have been stir frying lots and lots of veggies because I suck at cooking meat
My aunt made ribs a few weeks ago and the meet was just melting off the bones. That was the best thing I have eaten in a while |

Seriously though guys, half the threads on the forum end up on food-related tangents. Why not have a food thread to help curtail some of that?
|
I had a bag of teriyaki flavored beef jerkey and washed it down with a Stewart's birch beer. All on the way home from the grocery store....
I also just ordered my first fixed gear bike for a commuter/beater (black Windsor Hour) so I'm pretty stoked, might even eat another bag of jerky to celebrate :thumb: |

What we need is a bfssfg chatroom. I remember back on vwvortex/TCL we had one.

Yes! I'd use it.
Just had some vegan fried rice. |

My mom is filipino. The one thing I love about her culture is that all my relatives try to feed me a **** ton of food. Its all delicious. |

HTFU There's no such thing as a gear too big.
Also I'm allergic to rice. If I eat a single grain, I die. Simple as that. And you must be joking about the rice. |

I think the animal style is where they add mustered and grilled onions. There's also one called 4 x 4 where they add 4 patties of meat and 4 slices of cheese.

Animal style fries add their orange (probably thousand island) sauce with chopped grilled onions and cheese over a bed of fries. Double double is on the menu, 2x patties 2x cheese. You can go as high as you want. I used to eat 4x4's all the time. I was real fat back then. |
Gotcha. Ever hear of the Heart Attack Grill? It's a restaurant in Vegas with all-you-can-eat fries that are fried in lard, gigantic burgers cooked in lard served on buns toasted in lard, high fat shakes, beer, tequila, and unfiltered cigarettes. Insanity that I want to taste. There's a place in Chicago called Kuma's. Best burgers ever.
