Yummy, did you order the kilo you mentioned?
I rec'd my frameset from them. Pretty poorly packaged, at least the frame tubes were wrapped in flexible cardboard
, and the fork was just bouncing around in the box and received a few scuffs and scraps. Its obvious it was pre-assembled.
Seems so small compared to my ss conversion- all components ordered so it will be like christmas everyday next week.

elemtee, you bought a finished bike, stripped it of components it came with to put your own components on. Why not just buy a frameset to begin with? ..imean there ARE great frames for $360 out there, right? or you just love the feel of those cheap horizontal drop-outs

all i ordered from state bikes was this frameset, no other components were on it, thats a mtb stem i had laying around. I've been riding a ss conversion all yr and recently decided to build up a track frame and @ 100 bux, figured I'd start with this one.

picked apart my ss, decided to hold off on new crankset for now. new seatpost, stem and pedals on the way. have some steel toe clips, new double straps, and handlebars patiently waiting.
after 12 miles this morning (ops check
), rides nice, the fork could probably dent a tank its so heavy. next time i have it apart i'll weigh it, but heres a glimpse.

looks great! I just got my brown frame. looks very decent. The fork is a boat anchor but hey, for what I paid it's a winner. ALso just received some Mavic CXP22s from velomine. Everything arrived well packed, the wheels look great and the service was excellent. Waiting on new drop bars, brakes/levers, and Sram s300 crankset.
