Nice!
Did you expect the weather to be bad when you went out? Some of my best runs/rides have been the result of unexpected downpours that left me no choice but to just accept what was happening and enjoy the hell out of it.
In fact, I don't think I've ever regretted getting caught in the rain, although, of course, I still never go out if I know it's going to rain. The human mind is a mystifying place.

for the first time in almost four years there is way too much water in the river to get across to access the trails on the other side.

I did 29 miles after work today on my trusty old steel single speed.
This is along my favorite path. I ride and jog here quite frequently, but it's not always this beautiful. Today, the weather was perfect, I felt great, and the bike was running fine. The best part: midway into my ride (at the turnaround point in my out and back route), there's a place with great chicken tacos.
Spring has come to northern Utah, and I'm finally back to riding! Last Friday I did 33 miles on my road bike. Saturday I went for a little ride on my fixed gear (just 8 miles, but I pushed pretty hard), and today the SS got out of the garage. Life is good.

I can't compete with the awesome rides you all are taking recently, but this is about as smog-free (UGH) as we get these days so thought I'd share:
Still need to finish building the rear wheel, order a Pearl stem, and maybe get a new chainring. Also have an alternate stem-drop combo set up, but I still need to wrap the bars.
I'm also not sure this saddle and my ass were meant to be together, but I've got my (ultra comfortable) Selle Turbo on another bike at the moment--think my wife would notice if I swapped the Kashimax for the Concor Supercorsa I've been setting aside for her upcoming build?

That was actually not GMR yet, still GRR. my teammate and I started at his place in Claremont, went up Mt. Baldy rd and then down GRR and GMR. We both set pr's descending though, it was rad.

I see you over there
Not really a group ride, more like a rare moment when none of us were out on a delivery so I took advantage of the photo op. Left to right: Mercier Kilo TT, Cinelli Histogram, Cinelli Vigorelli (custom powdercoat) and Cinelli Vigorelli. #messlife
