Single. Since that pic I have fitted an Exzentricator for perfect chain adjustment and a 105 chainset.

Yeah I gonna say it's always good to have a tensioner when running SS imo. I've always wanted to a convert a modern road bike to fixed but that'd be beyond dangerous with the dropouts

If you're able to find the 'magic gear' it can work well. There is also the option of a eccentric hub as well.

There are solutions to the chain tension problem, one of which being the ENO hub.

It was 65 degrees today in Manhattan, a nice change from the 30's its been. Decided to go out for a 20 mile ride, haven't rode in a while, mostly been running.
