frame options with 1" steerers?
I've been thinking about getting a soma rush but if you guys have suggestions for frames with 1" steerers and are steel that'd be cool.

my soma rush was amazing. I miss it and regret selling it/replacing it with a 722
the other people who got the new Rush afterwards love it too.
assuming you're in the soma rush and under price range: just get the rush. it rides sooo nice.
if you have a little more, cc has offered some nice options like the godzilla and BK.

Go with the Rush. I love mine and it is now my favorite road fixed gear bike. The quality is totally first rate and the handling is perfect.

The Miche crank is great but the BB is crap, so I'd get something else. FWIW, I went whole hog and got silver Sugino 75s for my Soma Rush with a Protype BB.

You also don't have to worry about Miche bottom brackets. I used mine for two years through every kind of weather with no maintenance and no problems.

ill be honest. I like the look of a deep v in the rear and a regular in the front.
its purely aesthetics.

In terms of quality, the Rush is much better. The geometries are similar (track) and the weights are probably about the same. The Rush, has more room for larger tires, and the geometry is more consistent throughout the different sizes. Personally, it's a nobrainer, Rush all the way, unless color is the most important characteristic to you.
