Just got a GoPro and recorded a ride the other day.
It was more of an experiment, but I thought I'd post it up.

Be forewarned. It's really long, somewhat boring and badly edited.

After a **** start and my nerves going crazy, I got yanked out right before the half way mark, but beat everyone I had/wanted to.

yea, only 30 people could stay on the lead lap until the finish. very elite.

thought there was a rolling neutral lap before the start?

There was. Followed by 5 minutes of call ups and the power going out.

did they ask you to pull over at a certain point or were you just gassed?

they were puling people off so thats why only 30 finished.

Congrats man. woulda spectated on that, but had to go to jersey that weekend.

You can see right as I pull off a motorcycle go by, meaning the lead group is not far behind.
Lapped riders get pulled out.

Also a Pro Tip:
Do not consume 3 Gu's 10 minutes before racing on an empty stomach. It will make you wicked nauseous.

Setptember 7 2011 riding on the nearby roads with a friend of mine, we did an 85km ride that day, but my friend only remembered he'd brought a camera on last few kilometers...

It seems like in these street style crit races that if you aren't with the lead group after the initial jump that you'll never see them. really awesome you rode. did you do it on the mash?

And after seeing 3-4 dudes eat ****, I didn't suck anyones wheel too much.

Rode the Mash...and so did 40 other people.

I came in 6th out of 20, I made the mistake of using 48/17 could have runned with a higher GI for sure, the top 4 fixed riders were running 52/15, 53/16, 45/14 and 49/14
