Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

we should have a 'biggest reddest beard' contest and the winner should get an all city macho man.

we could also have a "biggest walking, talking stereotype" contest, but we'd run out of trophies.

I see your two velodromes, and raise you a polo court. If we just did it in our own town, it'd be Misskaz and me riding around and getting drunk, and we do that anyhow. You all need to come to Chicago. It's amazing here.

I was waiting for someone to say this. Although I feel like he was baiting people into saying this anyway.

Friday night at my shop... bring beer.

Or Portland... in July.

I'll be there and am hoping to bring something fun to ride or will just build up something while I am there... because I can.
