Question for Bridgestone NJS track frame owners

Is the "NJS" and serial number just stamped on the paint or is it actually engraved onto the bottom bracket shell?

Stamped into the BB shell, I'd guess. I don't know how else they would do it.

In line with the OP's thread topic, are there names behind the Bridgestone / Anchor NJS frames like who specifically builds them? Or are they just hand made in a production line kind of way?
