Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I was in the same situation as you, I wanted the Kilo TT pro but they had no stock. I bought and am currently very happy with the Windsor The Hour. I noticed you ordered already or I would suggest that you check mine out to see how you like it, though I am a size 59.
I honestly don't plan on going with the Kilo unless this gets destroyed.
Things I changed:
Pedals
Handlebars (though they stock are fine, I wanted Bullhorns)
I need to add the front brake, I am new to this and don't care about vanity, I want backup protection.
Ill change the seat eventually.
Enjoy.

speaking of front brake, anyone braver than me not use their BD front brake (kilo, track, windsor etc) and looking to sell it shoot me a PM.

Well that's good to hear that it's working out for you.
I was also planning on changing the pedals, I really hate the cages, I prefer a strap like yours.
Luckily the stock handlebars are what I wanted so I won't have to get another set, but I might get new tape for them.

Question - did you remove the decals or just cover them?

They're kind of busy these days since they got named #1 custom bike shop in NY magazine, but Joe is amazingly chill and will teach you anything you want to know. He's honest about parts, not just pushing you to buy the most expensive, and he always gets you a discount.

Anyways, I'll be taking my Hour to him once it comes in for a good starting tune-up. If you're around BK, you should check them out.
i live in fort greene right near dtb. if you need any bike help or need to borrow and tools or anything, let me know.

I ended up covering them up with some stickers I had lying around. Electrical tape will cover them nicely too. I plan on putting as many stickers as I get on it.
Yeah, the stock drops are fine but I definitely would get some tape, I ended getting DEDA tape on Ebay for around 12 shipped, feels great.
