Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I size down my tri bike and my track bike. compared to my road bikes. could be branding to that affects that
Normally I would go do something along those lines but I feel because I am buying off the internet and not through my LBS I would rather not waste there time.

To the other guys who mentioned stand over height, the frame with 53cm top tube is has a standover height of 75.5cm. My current bike is an older frame and the standover is 78cm and I havent injured myself yet. Litte bit of extra clearance is always good eh, ha ha

My experience is that if a bike size is in the ball park, top tube is the important measurement. I need a fairly short top tube - short arms.
