Only the left one.
|
What happened to your left one?
Oh, and check the top right corner of this page... |
Try buying those padded under wear. The bike shorts you wear underneath your clothes. It will put less pressure down there. Try different seat positions and seats.
I ride (if I can get another soon) San Marco Regal saddles they are comfortable. Just as stated before if it hurts too much go see the Doc! S/F, CEYA! |

That doesn't seem like a very fair trade... You should have at least gotten a mixing board or amplifier or 4 track or something along with it to plug the microphone into...

i'd go with a black professional to match. You should post this in the Road subforum. They get off on this *****. Be prepared for (1) an extensive exegesis on saddle height and angle, and (2) more testimonials from those that bow down at the House of Brooks. My two cents....get rid of the gel seat. The boys hate those things. |
I would agree ditch the gel. I 'm a much happier camper with less padding. Then go and spend the $30 on some bike shorts. It sounds like a lot but you can wear them day in day out, just wash them in the sink at night.

Ahhhhh, FugaziDave: our lowly forum's humble poet laureate...
As for this dude's balls: it may be a combination of the saddle angle (as previously mentioned) and the gel padding. Gel has a nasty way of deforming when you sit on it, so that the gel that gets pushed down where you sit pushes up in other areas that don't really want to be pushed on. If you don't want to shell out for a new seat, try tearing all the leather and padding off your current 'crappy aero' saddle. You should be left with a flexible plastic base that supports your sit bones well, leaving your 'boys' comfortably suspended above. I've done this with two Flite saddles and have been perfectly happy (even on an 80 mile ride). ...or it could be cancer. |

i think you probably hit a bump and racked yourself without really realizing it. with all the weight you were carrying it was probably more pronounced than normal.

OK, maybe not. |
i have the cloud-9 seat, and i really like it alot, havent had any above-mentioned problems with it ever. the guys at garagedevelo in boston said everytime they get new ones in, they are gone by the end of the week, and i think i paid like 14 bucks for it? maybe less, but it was definitely a bargain, whatever it was
|
I guess I'll be the first to chime in and say it may be the boxers. I used to ride in boxers, and my balls hurt often. I think it's becuase they just sort of end up wherever (including crushing positions) when you sit down. Sometimes, mine would slip down to the side, and when I'd stand up, they'd get caught under the edge of the saddle. That is one of the worst pains ever (especially on a fixie where you can't stop pedalling to sooth the boys).
Anyways, the point of the story is I switched to briefs (a.k.a. tighty whities), and I've been much more comfortable ever since. They keep the boys high and dry, and prevent unfortunate 'hooking'. PLus, my girlfriend thinks they're cute. :) |
I've got a Brooks and it's a comfy saddle. My rear is quite happy with it. I have had the unfortunate "hurting balls" syndrome or more precisely "hurting groin area" from riding my bike after a long time off from riding. It would sometimes make it hard to pee but would eventually go away after more time on the saddle. I think adjusting and readjusting your seat angle and height and also your handlebar height and stem length too should help. If not then go looking for a better saddle.

take your Evo Mini out of your FRONT pocket?
|
maybe your "boys" just need more support? could it be the boxers?

little corner of mayhem shortly with all sorts of suggestions on how to set up a real saddle. Testimonials will commence at 2:00pm MST. |
Has it been awhile since you test-fired the canons?
Fire off a few clips. Trust me. |
