Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Steamer or Langster ...out

My stable is overloaded a little .
Somebody needs to go..
Love them both.
They are equipped almost equally - Sugino RD cranks, Wabi wheelset (ignore this Ksyrium), handlebara - one is Nitto noodle other Ritchey LogicII, seats Romins..etc.

What to dump?

Langster or Steamer?

Love them both.

I think I did not make this poll user friendly..

I asked what to let go in the poll and what to kepp in the post.

4 people voted to "let go that steamer" , 4 people said to "keep the steamer"...

well... Now I have a question: would you keep them both because they are not entirely the same - one is 48/16 other is 48/17 and sell that MTB on the wall, I use once or twice in 3 month (always do not have time to drive 30 miles to the closest woods)..

(?)

I'd keep the Steamroller, but honestly, you can't decide for yourself?

It would sound like a very logical and smart idea.. But I do not have nice downtown or any roads to commute and I use them as the road bikes.
Even my Cannondale Bad Boy is being set up as a roadie - road wheels and 700x23 tires, cassette, 105 derailleur, seat much higher than handlebar...

I always like the concept of CX but have no place to use it... I live in " roadie's paradise..."

seriously...when I look at them side by side it's like... deciding what position to have a sex in.... (is it a good one?)

I like the Specialized. The chrome accents are nice.

Talking about handlebars I probably keep them both.. First Nitto..because it is Nitto, and LogicII ..because it is compact. I have nice handlebar ..carbon wrapped and ugly colorful which will be a good selling point....

Sell the dusty MTB, set the steamroller up for CX, and call it a day.

Bikes: 2014 Stainless Steel Firefly

I can see how this decision would be tough... both of those bikes are real slick!

At the end of the day, I'd stick with the steamroller.

Bikes: Litespeed Catalyst, IRO Rob Roy, All City Big Block

Flip a coin. Then sell the Langster.

Actually this is what I wanted to hear here from everybody.

Honestly, my personal pereference was to keep Langster and MAY BE get rid of Roller.
But since almost everybody said to keep it, I can't sell ...because it would be not fair to collective opinion.
But I have to respect my preference too... SO I'll keep them both..

And here is a Winner:
