Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? White tires?

Howdy,

Just wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to find white (or white-walled) slicks.

Bikes: Orbea Orca Campified...

Vredestein tri comp are cool high pressure white walled (among other colors) tires. biketiresdirect should have them relatively cheap.

I couldn't find any white walls at https://www.biketiresdirect.com/

I would love to find a set of 23cm whitewalls for my bike. Sometimes I see a 70's ten speed locked up at masonic & oak here in sf and it has old school white walls.

I'd like to have a modern fixed gear with the stying cues of a fifties hotrod. flat black, red rims, chromey stuff & white walls.

I have those on my road bike right now, matches the wheels and I'm unsire how it goes with the rest of the bike. I definitely get a hot rod feel from it but some people don't get it.

It definitely makes it stand out though.

Bikes: Bikes, lotsa bikes. Oh, and I got a Kazoo. Best bike ever.

Vittoria Rubinos also come in white. Decent tire with a kevlar belt, about 25 bucks each.
