Shouldn't have to resize if its not too big. Just click on the picture icon in the reply, then choose from url, throw in the link and uncheck the retrieve option and it should work. Or just put [.img] url [./img] tags around the url (remove the periods/spaces).

Yeah I did that and it complained about the file size, hence the question. Since i was on my phone I didn't really have access to something to scale the photo.
