Schwinn conversion

Here's a 1988 Schwinn World Sport I converted for my Dad to ride around in the Florida Keys where he lives. He says his buddies are jealous and want me to build them one.

Are there no spacers on that stem? A threaded to threadless converter?

With a threadless stem. So Amazon.com : Profile Design Threadless Converter (1 - 1/8-Inch) : Bike Stems And Parts : Sports & Outdoors

I didn't know those didn't need spacers still, but I guess it makes sense. Just looks weird

This is one of my SS's, it's a 1963 Higgins Roadster Trike. It's 40/20 and really lovely to ride.

Bikes: Leader 725 55cm ... Bianchi Pista 51cm

I just finished up this build. Built this for my B-day present. I still need to get pedals, these pedals are from my Bianchi. I also need a final cut on my steer tube. Also a few little final adjustments here and there. But I love the geo of this bike. Its really nice and comfortable for me.

Yea, that's a threaded to threadless adaptor. It's up a little high but is adjustable. It is an extra long adaptor for the old man to be more comfortable.

Love that long ass limousine frame. I'm with SquidPuppet on ditching the white. I'd probably go with black saddle and clear Odyssey Twisted pedals if it were mine.

Bikes: iele Latina, Miele Suprema, Miele Uno LS, Miele Miele Beta, MMTB, Bianchi Model Unknown, Fiori Venezia, Fiori Napoli, VeloSport Adamas AX

Here's my MIELE single speed.

It's a dumpster rescue and had tubular wheels with cyclo-cross tires on them. The tires were shot and the top tube was cracked at the forward rear brake cable entry hole. Since it was a Columbus SL frame I had the frame repaired and then repainted.

It has Dura Ace AX claipers paired to Tiagra levers, an ACS 20 teeth 3/32" freewheel, Exage crank (that I polished the grey finish off of because i like the semi-aero look of it but detested the finish) with a 49 teeth chainring, Rino pedals, TTT PISTA alloy bars, TTT stem, Shimano 600 Aero seatpost, Bassano saddle and GC Export pump (made in Italy). The wheels are cheap ones I took off a Canadian Tire CCM Presto road bike to experiment with. The rear diisc covers were made by Pawsch (sp?) and I just replaced the nutted wheel axles with the same threading quick release ones I got about 1 week ago. I just transferred all the parts from the old axles to the new ones. I rebuilt the front wheel with a radial spoke pattern for looks. I have three of those Shimao aero water bottles and cages.

Do you actually like them or just their looks? I have a pair and when I got everything set up the braking strength was next to nothing. Granted, I had on the original pads but I'm not willing to pay the price for new ones on eBay.

yes one minor dent on the seat stay that is not visible unless you look up close; neither does it effect the ride. Other then that, it's a perfect bike with no scratches, or rust.
