I love how All City cites old Cannondales as inspiration. That's a hot bike.

Typical (worse than typical) Mash Histogram, selling it to get something more steel.

My old 1980 Bianchi converted to SS, was repainted about 15 years ago, doesn't get much love these days but it was my first new decent road bike when I was a kid.

Thanks Seau! Yea it's a little long but manageable, better with the original drops on which I may throw back on or dig up a shorter stem.

Do you normally lock it to something or just to itself?

Either:

Nobody steals bikes in Canada

OR

It's so bad in Canada that he has to lock it up, even though he's a couple steps away, to take a picture of it.

Hahaha. I think it'd most likely be the first scenario. It's Canada.

I can assure you that option #1 is not exactly accurate.

Bikes: 2013 BMC Impec

After almost 2 months of riding around with no bar wrap, wobbly wheels, brakes on the wrong sides, and pedals that didn't fit straps, I've straightened everything out after an unexpected day off. Borrowed the park tools truing stand from a friend and fixed the wheels, flipped the brakes, put new pedals with straps on, and wrapped the bars with leather cord to match the tires. I'd probably still like to find a slightly more plush seat, and probably put the old Sugino cranks back on now that I have a correct bb for it.

I have never seen bars wrapped like this before. Can you explain the process a bit? I'm curious to know how the bottom layer of leather wrap was installed, as it appears to be perpendicular to the direction of the wrap. (Sorry, struggling for how to describe it).

The more I look at this set up, the mustache bars, long stem, and the horizontal levers, the more the bike looks like it's flying even though it's sitting still .

Is that stack of boxes a work of abstract art, or are there hoarding issue at your house?
