Antonio Taverna did a a great job building me a cheap but custom Deda Zero-Uno frameset to the exact specs of my Merlin Extralight. Custom stem and post would triple what I spend on this bike, if not more. Wheels were fitted for the photos, I have a similar set but with already worn GP4 rims and I'm building up a set of high profile Record hubs from the spare parts box with polished low profile Campagnolo Omegas.
Started using it on July 29 for daily commuting and some touring and crossed the 3500 km mark today...

Nice. Ditch the Kashimax and road pedals and you have one classy comfy ride.

Agree with the previous comments about ditching the road pedals. Prefer using pedals with steel toeclips

What type of saddle is that? Looks like a stripped Concor?

Musical wheels

Same old bikes but a lot of wheel rearranging:

1. Soma Rush gets new Wabi wheelset with quick releases.
2. Dolan Pre Cursa gets wheelset from Soma Rush.
3. Bianchi Pista Concept gets back OEM wheelset that had been on Dolan Pre Cursa.
4. Paramount P14 gets back original custom racing wheelset with Campy Pista hubs.
5. Leader 721tr gets carbon rear wheel that had been used on the Bianchi, but with a wide 25mm road tubular tire. Both wheels have Milwaukee Bicycle Co. hubs, but the front has been rebuilt with a Velocity Escape rim after I trashed the front carbon rim by driving over it with my pickup truck.

Well, I had them built professionally in the late 1970s. The hubs are Campy Pista 28 hole and slotted to accept bladed spokes. They are laced radial front and 1X rear tied and soldered to Araya Aero 1 tubular track rims.
