Same thing as Nagrom. I put aluminum foil under the insole to cover up the goddamn hole in the sole. I hope this gives me a little longer before my toes go numb.

henrymiller 01-06-13 04:18 PM

Sidi dominators, Shimano m540.

get a pair of these bad boys? I don't think you need full booties but man, worth the investment.

Muffin Man 01-06-13 04:38 PM

That was an option, but I want to see how much of the issue the ventilation hole was, and how much covering that up helps. Also, aluminum foil is cheaper than a toe cover.

I have a westport cruiser bike I like to ride sometimes, it's heavy and is a good leg workout, it's also nice when i'm not in any hurry, anyone know if these bikes are regular thread on the pedals? the bike isnt bad, but the pedals have to go

Will Speedplay Zeros work for fixed gear riding? I use them on my roadie, I could get a set for the FG and use the same shoes.

I 'm finishing up the Schwinn which will be my primary bke, but I do enjoy riding the big cruiser bike sometimes, I have no idea what pedall thread is on there, I think it might be a chinese bike, it's got horrible pedals, on the Schwinn I have Atom 440 pedals, and I have clips but clips and straps only, as heavy as the westport is, it's a really good workout going up hills with no gearing, I use it for strength training, the only thing it's good for

8bits 01-06-13 06:16 PM

everyday bike I use a Time Atac Roc wtih a Specialized MTB shoe
track/road bike I use 105's with Sidi Genius 5
