It's only ugly to me because they didn't offer a BB30 version. :troll:

TheRealFaux 02-25-13 09:29 PM

That bishop is ****ing gorgeous.

EpicSchwinn 02-25-13 10:00 PM

Bishop is sweet. Needs silver homson and rims of equal depth tho...

Muffin Man 02-25-13 10:08 PM

I hate new shimano cranks. So ugly. Rest of the bike is sweet though.

didn't, don't, and never will

TheRealFaux 02-25-13 10:34 PM

All modern cranks look ugly IMO, but I definitely have a sweet spot for steel frames with modern groups. That Bishop can't get any better, it's perfect.

Muffin Man 02-25-13 10:49 PM

Sram looks nice, partly because its a hell of a lot more affordable to the top tier groups haha.

sinikl 02-25-13 10:55 PM

i stand corrected. point conceded!

Uh, its about the same as shimano in terms of price...

Muffin Man 02-25-13 11:33 PM

Lighter then. And not as fugly.

Let me say again the frame lugwork is cool.

This thread, you're doing it wrong.

This isn't the "Post a bike that looks better than anything you own because you're nit-picking and have bad taste 2013" thread.

This is a place for mountain bikes with aerospokes and carbon fiber stickers.

Actually, I couldn't think of a better use for a softride.

c0urt 02-26-13 06:51 PM

we recently did the same thing to a soft ride that some tossed into a tree at the co-op, just with bull horns

http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/bik/3647766442.html I, I don't even .... why? the front DOs look really safe.

EnzoRWD 02-27-13 03:17 PM

price is far-fetched, but I find the bike pretty good looking. it's a ways away from the pron thread but also far removed from this one.

chicagoSS 02-27-13 03:18 PM

I dunno, the 14000 Montante stamps/stickers/decals are pretty jackassy to me.

Scrodzilla 02-27-13 03:31 PM

Really? Logos make an entire bike "jackass" now?

from the listing:

Replacement cost $3960 FOB Italy. They will only ship FedEx at a cost of $900.
Does that make no sense to anyone else?
