New Fixie ---- help!!
I've been riding high end Mountain Bikes and BMx for years...
Recently I've decided to get an inexpensive fixie for kicking around.
Are the Retrospecs junk?
I'm seeing all these brands I never heard of. I'm seeing the Windsor bikes as well. I'm clueless over here.

I've never seen a Retrospec in person, but given that their website doesn't even bother telling you WHAT type of steel they're using and the fact that they look like Pure Fixes or Big Shots sister company, I'd say yes they're junk. It's a fashion statement, not a bike.

Windsor on the other hand has some fans. It's a bikesdirect brand.
Depending on your budget, most people will recommend the Kilo TT.

This thread, quite literally, has stars all over it and is one of only two stickied posts in this forum. Please read through it first, then ask any, more specific, questions you may still have.
