Yeah I hear you on that, im not really hopping on the gravel bike "trend" just looking for an All City Macho Man Disc. More of a do anything bike. The problem is I only have Vintage Cannondales and a few single speeds none of which are suited well for this type of riding. The closest would be that Volume Cutter if I made the part swaps.

Today I am still sick with the same cold from last week. Coming home from work, around the time the odometer in my pickup showed six fives in a row, one of the dry-rotted tires failed:
I managed to get the "temporary spare", which may not have been dropped from underneath the bed since it was new, to take full 60psi rated pressure with a bicycle pump. Luckily it happened on a long straight stretch and the traffic was light. Totally my fault for not keeping closer tabs on its condition, but the truck spends most of its days now just sitting in the yard.
Then limped the remaining 18 miles home to find this waiting for me:
Good thing for the sender that it did not contain a Huffy.

A friend rode the 100k last year. Flatted out 3 times and had to DNF. It's a hell of a ride.
You going with a group, Johnny?

Rode across the new bay bridge bike path after work. Too bad it doesn't go all the way to SF. =(((
Also got to be that guy who snuck his full size road bike on the last train car of bart during peak commute hours. No regrets.

Still kicking.
Today I pretty much finished my project and serviced my two trumpets as well.
Going to start making a serious effort to start playing again.

Even crazier!! A friend of mine named Collin does Dan and Rebecca Rusch's support for that race. If you are keeping up with Dan you are going to smoke me. I need to get much more serious miles in my legs before then.
