I decided to run with a coworker at lunch today and man my **** is so sore today
I felt like I could have gone for much longer (was 2.5mi), but I knew that if I did my muscles and joints would be even more rocked today |
Today I'm working my woodshop monitor shift, and then covering the second shift as well, so will be sitting in an empty woodshop all day. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to think up any awesome projects to keep myself occupied.

Maybe I'm late, but today I saw this:
The right way to ride a Pinarello. |

Today I noticed the master link in my cheapo KMC z410 chain on my commuter is broken, the retainer clip split in half and is just spinning around loosely. The chain was only $6 on Amazon; a new master link is $3; just bought another chain (same one). It lasted a little over a year, and I didn't treat it nicely, not bad for $6 right?

also re: ashton that really sucks but hes great that he has such a positive attitude about it all |
Yeah I probably won't use a master link with the new chain, it seems pretty pointless on a fixed/ss chain. But this one is pretty worn anyways so might as well just replace it.

"The initial prognosis of the injury is not positive and Ashton is reported to have lost feeling below the point of injury to the T9 and 10 vertebrae – about halfway down the spine."

How to perform such magic?
basically just picked it off the bb shell and started it on the chainring and finished out the pedalstroke and was good to go note to self: need paul chain keeper nao tho. |
Oh I do that with my front derailleur once in a while. Speaking of which, I should probably adjust that thing so it stops throwing the chain off the big ring.

i dont really see how it would be possible to do it on a fg and retain all your fingers after you put it on the cog
today i received shipping info for a replacement IGH internal cartridge and shifter with basically no questions asked besides "120 or 130mm OLD" sturmey archer got some good service, totally free even though it was bought secondhand i also realized that flat routes pretty much suck, need moar climb. |

Today I went and watched some of the Gloucester Grand Prix CX with my girlfriend. After watching the elite womens ride she wants a CX bike. I'm ok with this.
