I am happy for you guys. Things are so much more satisfying when you had to work for them. Best of luck to you and Angie.

Don't even have a cast. This is so foreign to me.

My right arm wasn't in a cast either from my accident. If the damage is near a joint, casting that spot can cause more harm than it does good.

Today I saw a customer who was so terribly unattractive that another patron commented on it. Ow my eyes. Much uglises.

Huffandstuff 01-30-14 11:20 PM

Got cut off by some car because Portlanders can't drive worth a damn and had to bunny hop a curb at 100RPM, cased the rear tire enough to pinch flat it but no damage to the rim(Hurray B43's) then went to Velocult and got drunk and did goldsprints, was a good time.

While pondering the consequences of the post by James, I wondered how long his post would go unchanged.

At the same time, I wondered how long my post would stand uncompromised.

It's actually a pretty rad place, first time I've ever been there. Shame it's on like the opposite side of the world for me cause I could see myself hanging out in there and having a drink on occasion.

Today I was woken up at 5AM by phone calls from ADT and SDPD regarding this:

Two bikes gone. Bastards.

Warm welcome I guess. That really ****ing sucks.
That pake was fresh too.

Pretty lame you have to file an insurance claim before the actual grand opening of the shop. People suck.

carleton 01-31-14 11:59 AM

Damn.

Leukybear 01-31-14 12:01 PM

Sorry to hear about that. My heart would've sunk to the floor if I was in your shoes.
Yeah things like that do happen around. You need bars on your windows and pry-protection on your doors scrod.

What's even more insinuating is the perp probably snooped out your store and interacted with you the day before and saw the opportunity.

Post onto/ check the ~~fixielistSD~~ facebook group.

EDIT: also try to use a throwaway FB account to post in that group about desiring the bikes that were taken.

Siu Blue Wind 01-31-14 12:17 PM

That breaks my heart for you and Angie. It really does. I'm sorry, Scrod. But what goes around, comes around. They will get theirs.

IAmSam 01-31-14 12:40 PM

You need to get one of those roll down grates - may even keep your insurance rates from going up

seau grateau 01-31-14 02:15 PM

+1 for roll-downs. Do you have any cameras installed?

Mumonkan 01-31-14 03:37 PM

people man, why?

Cyril 01-31-14 03:49 PM

People... they're the worst.

JamesCraps 01-31-14 03:52 PM

Wow what ****s. Are you covered?
