Today I rode my Pista Concept brakeless on the street, and lived to talk about it.

I ride brakeless freewheel in the street all the time.

hairnet 03-06-14 07:06 PM

I rode my friend's brakeless bmx for a little bit. That was different.

Dannihilator 03-06-14 07:36 PM

Today I put in more time on the dmr, which has a brake.

That company was started by a couple of Davis grads IIRC. I'm so sorry :(.
I also see these bikes all around campus and feel bad for the kids that ride them.

Today I bought a belt. Haven't had one in about 10 years. Always used a shoelace.

Went from a shoe lace to Louis V? That's like never owning a car to buying a Ferrari.

Dixie Gentleman 03-07-14 12:39 AM

I actually prefer the shoelace.

I'll trade you my box of shoelaces for the LV.

I don't think there's a set of bars on the page that are setup correctly.

Today I opened the flyers from the local paper and saw ads for lawn mowers, BBQ's, bikes. Light at the end of the winter tunnel. Too bad daylight savings starts this weekend so I'll be getting up in the dark again.

It's the Millennials they are targeting. Not the brightest generation.

johnnytheboy 03-07-14 10:15 AM

You're welcome

Wow.

^^Really have to admire their level 2 bikes, with the aero seatpost and cutout for the rear tire.
Even when it's slammed, the 25c on their bike doesn't look any closer than on this bike. I'm fairly confident the wheelbase on both bikes is pretty much the same.

That logo (or should I say, LOW//go) looks a little familiar too.
