Today, I finally picked up my Nature Boy frame from the powdercoater guy(after 3 weeks), only for him to tell me he messed up the coating on the fork right before I arrived and I'll need to come back tomorrow or Sunday to pick that up. Despite the wait and inconvenience, he did a really nice job with the coating. Went with black with a rainbow flake. Here's a pic of his work on another frame - really glitters in the light.

I almost bike jousted the meth addiction right out of a cranker on the street today. He yelled "F*** yoooouuu!" as I stop short to let him pass because he was Magoo'ing all over the place on his townie while zoning out in the distance and holding vodka in the other hand.

D*** Smash! Yeahhh! I hate meth addicts.....

Just in town for Elton John last night. Flew back to Phx today. That's not to say I didn't drink my weight in alcohol last night. I don't remember how the night ended but at least I woke up in my hotel room. I'm a little nervous to look at my cc bill.

Today I operated a SAG wagon for the Mulholland Challenge, a brutal ride 120 miles with 13,000 feet of climbing. I wish I were out there riding it. I met a bunch of senior long distance riders that hold the California Triple Crown jersey and now I want to join their ranks.

Today I rode my bike around the inside of the store I work at... they close in 2 days (going out of business) and are getting pretty lax about what we do there. So I did some laps around the place, left a few skids on the carpet, and threw a football around to kill the rest of the time.
