Put a couple ounces of sealant in my tires this morning. Less messy than expected.

Got a puncture (no flat though) last night coming home. Pretty good size chunk of glass.

How bad was the air loss before it resealed itself?

Going stir crazy being in bed for two days. I may have to convert my bike to fixed gear to occupy myself. I wish I hadn't sold my good wheel

Do you use Stans? The only thing I regret from playing around with tubeless is that now I associate my mtb with the smell of latex

You should do the PCH Randonneurs Fleche in May. 24 hours, minimum 360km.

Today I had to cut my ride short due to back pain. An old injury flared up again and for a while, being on the bike was one of the few comfortable positions I could be in. But it didn't last and the final dismount confirmed that I made the right decision to quit before hurting myself. Will rest up on pain killers tonight and see how I do tomorrow.

It is good you had the presence of mind to stop, when you are on the bike, somehow it doesn't seem as serious in spite of the pain.

Hope you get better soon.
