My woman is out of town with her family so I am hanging with my family. We were going to see Against Me! last night but the show was sold out :(

Got on a plane to San Diego and took the Coaster up to north county. Got an excellent meal at Encinitas Alehouse, crashing in Leucadia. Riding the Marin Ignacio this week, fitted with 2-speed S-A kickback hub for those big climbs. Weather's gonna be perfect.

Haha prolly old enough to be your dad. The surf breaks here are timeless, however. Stone Steps, Beacons, etc

I like the wrap, don't know if like that angle though.

I need to see it from the side.

Yeah, bullhorns cut from drop bars have a lot of subjective to preference room, as far as angle goes. They aren't flat like premade bullhorns. These are 3T's which make great bullhorns IMO..

Looks like the only hand position is in the bottom out front. Maybe take more off the ends so you can level the bars out? Can't be comfortable having your hands at that degree with your wrist bending so much

I've been riding them that way for years. They are quite narrow, so when I ride in the "drops" my hands are actually on the outside of the bars. It's very comfortable, to me.

Also, there are obviously more than one "hand position". At least two others, ya know?

Just placed my first order from Retrogression. Yay.

Good man! Beacons is a great beach.

I grew up in N County SD.

Day 3 of being snowed off the bikes. The weather report does not look hopeful for the next 10 days :-(

Ride Safe,

Joe

Mumonkan 02-17-15 05:33 AM

today i got stuck on a hill a block form my house trying to drive into work

really thinking of getting rid of that thing completely, a set of new tires and battery is more than its total value

oh well, snow day. begin stircrazy.

Yes, here ya go. Notice the ends of the bars are almost even with the stem. If I'm riding in that position, my thumbs would be on the wine corks. I only ride in that position to stretch out, or at times when anyone else would be riding in the drops, on non bullhorns. I usually ride on the flat parts or just before they curve down, on the outside.
