Only if you actually don't put a saddle on it.

Why is a chainring not called a crankwheel? Why is a spoke not called a wheelstick? Why is a derailleur not called a chainmove?

T13 02-18-15 02:47 PM

Why does the word "lackadaisical" have nothing to do with a shortage of flowers?

seau grateau 02-18-15 02:59 PM

Why is getting your wheels trued not called a ****ob?

Our work neighbor found a stolen bike stashed in his bushes, he grabbed it and put it inside and big surprise about two hours later some grungy looking kid with a camping pack on goes straight to those bushes to look for something.

What was the bike?

Maybe it was the grungy looking kid's bike, and yer neighbor is really the bike thief, haha...

Looked like a Raleigh single speed, just caught a glance of the Raleigh head badge bit not sure if it was a conversion or what. Seemed newerish.

If it was maybe he shouldn't put his bike behind a gate to a private residence.

Probably seemed like the safest place to put it....

I get stolen stuff stashed on my back patio pretty regular. One time I found a snipped cable lock with the cutters lying next to it. I tossed both in the trash. Little while later someone is banging on the door. I answer it and there he was, this kid wanting to know what I did with his cable cutters.

Yeah, paddled out at Beacons today. Tide was crazy low.

Today I learned that black cambium saddles fade to a tannish-brown over time with use.

Just learned this as well, and I'm still waiting on delivery of one. I guess I'm OK with it.

Why do we Park on driveways and drive on parkways? Why are they called APARTments, when they're anything but that. Where does the white go when the snow melts?

I actually found out when I ran into one of my buddies who was an early adopter with the one of the numbered out of 2000 1st production run ones. Asked him when he got a new "brown" cambium only to learn it's the same one except faded.

I had a c17 myself but it wasn't for me, too wide and the textured fabric cover was a bit too grippy for me. Didn't love it to the point that it faded as I found myself having to adjust my butt everytime I got out of saddle.

Yeah those are the tires it came with. They are pretty worn. Looking for some new ones right now.

List of things i still need:

Tires
Bottom Bracket
Seat (saddle)
Seat Post (saddle post?)

Making this list just reminded me of that arguement, with Squidpuppet, i think, about how the seat on a bike isn't called a "seat" but it's called a "saddle".

So why the f*ck isn't the seatpost called a "saddlepost"?

And why is the seat tube called that********************
