Thanks! In a week or two I'll set up a PedalRoom for it. I'll definitely include some detailed pictures of the lugs (the original reason I fell in love with this bike!).

For what it's worth, after talking to someone who has worked on these and doing more research, my BB is action a SRAM Pressfit BB30, so I actually needed a PF30 bottom bracket, and I grabbed one with the angular contact bearings.

So all should be good.

And yeah, the gear ratio is insane. The biggest it can do is 53x12, which puts out something like 116 gear inches. I kinda assumed it was used by a racer for a season or two, which would make sense, because this bike was marketed as a slightly better Allez, and the components have barely any wear at all.

A new cassette may be in order, though. Dunno if I could take any serious hill on this thing..

I made pizza with ramen noodles as the base before...tasty!

Today I got my first spring commute in, fourth degrees approx 16 miles to work taking the scenic/single track route.

(even though I cursed at the last one when I went to run new cable on my old '88 Trek.)

So good! I have a '92 400 that has the same lugs but not the internal RD routing. Great score.

In other news:
Today I registered for the "Intro to Track Racing" clinic at Kissena.

We normally just get the boboli pizza crust and pizza sauce and make our own pizzas at home rather than buy the crappy frozen stuff, and then we stumbled across this.

We used shredded moz cheese instead of the provolone and mixed up the toppings. The noodles harden in the oven and it gives it a fairly solid base, however, you still might need a fork if you don't want messy hands.

I've also made quinoa pizza that I derived from this recipe:

Basically, I just make quinoa the normal way, then in a large bowl I mix in whatever pizza toppings I want (minus the sauce, but add egg so it sticks together better) and then spread it in a large cake pan and bake for 15-20 minutes at 350. After baking I just cut it into squares and spread some warm pizza sauce on top.

I typically see them (often in pairs) riding a paved trail and I kinda giggle to myself as I blow by them on 23mm slicks.

Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to have a SS Pugs or Moonlander but I rarely see them ridden on the terrain they're intended for.

this was a male, red anodized rims, traveling along a gravel mup, graceful beast.

if he actually rode this winter he was probably in graceland with all the snow we had but it looked mighty clean, so he probably brought it out after optimal riding conditions
