I hate how the sizing is all over the place for jerseys etc, It makes me feel like i'm a fat ass when i have to order XL stuff even though im just a 34 waist

Today I had another garage flat. Went to ride my vintage Nobilette roadie and the front tire was flat as a pancake, so I pumped it up and felt air leaking out the sidewall, but no sign of a puncture. I removed the tube, inflated it and there was a tiny pinhole in the tube, but nothing inside the tire casing to have caused it. Of course, it was another Bontrager tube that all seem to just fail after time without any reason. So I went to my stash of 27 new tubes, and couldn't find a single one that was the correct size and valve length. Plenty of skinny tubes with long valves and plenty of fat tubes with short valves, but no skinny 700c tube with a short valve. 
Fortunately, I have another vintage front wheel with an Avocet 30 computer magnet on it, so I'll ride that until I get around to buying more tubes.

seriously, i love videos like this that arent just about guys bombing DH on $15k rigs or road videos that are about Z5 training intervals, this is a great trail/bike camping video
watching these kinds of videos really makes me hate where i live tho. maybe its time to embrace my heritage and go to the polish motherland

Yeah, I normally wear a size large so that's what I ordered when I bought my first kit from them. It fits, but it's umm...snug, to say the least. A size up fits perfectly.

To me, that is a big indicator that there is a tiny piece of radial tire wire poking through the tire. Match up the pinhole with the tire and see if you can feel something that is very much like a grain of sand. Inspect closer and it could very well be wire.

i had the mystery pinhole problem with my rear tube for months, then it started happening to my front. i couldnt find either hole for ****. after leaving the wheels to sit for months and months i put them underwater and found the holes, one was on the rim side and the other was along the sidewall.
inspected the wheel and tires and didnt find anything that couldve caused the holes. they were such small holes it would take days to leak out
super annoying.

Today I purchased a new bike helmet, and decided to go full hi-vis; I had actually been thinking about the color for a while.
Family and friends have complained that it can be tough to pick me out in criterium or track races, and I train a fair bit in the early morning so I figure it's also a safe choice.
It's just... so... bright! (but I guess that's the point)

Raced my first crit yesterday, got fifth on the lap it should of ended at but the officials weren't paying attention and made us take an extra lap with mass confusion. Ended up close up to last place cause of it.

Why do you keep acting like the island you live on is in the middle of the Atlantic? You are like a 5 hour train ride to the Catskills, Berkshires or even the Adirondacks. There isn't anything stopping you from going.

sure, theres lots of good terrain within hrs of here, but it takes a while to get there. to get to that 5 hr train ride it would take another hour and a half of train/ferry/bus/driving
i cant just go out my backyard and ride through some dope ass scenery like that after work, i dont typically have time like that
plus theres plenty of other things i hate about this place, lol
