annnd I had to call the cops today because someone parked a stolen car in the garage at the vacant house next door. I gave the wife authorization to start house shopping. Enough is enough. |

Today I learned that you cannot ride on a tire when the bead separates from the casing, not even a little bit, you can't even air it up. Got my spare tube out, put it all together, started hand pumping it up, around 80psi popped in my ear. Lucky my friends dorm room was literally 40 feet away and he had just purchased new tires for his bike. So I bum his spare tube, his old tire, find out my his 30mm valve stem spare wont fit my sweet 43mm deep profile wheels. However his bike has 48mm valve stems, so off I go taking more tires off, which his really sucked to remove. 48mm valve barely sticks out enough, but it works. An hour later and I'm off back to work.
TL: DL, replaced tire and a few tube. Miami loses game 5, ****ty Monday |
Ahhhhhh... I have been successfully avoiding spoilers all day so I can go home and watch it tonight. I only check bike sites and video game sites when I'm avoiding scores, as I have never seen anyone talk basketball on them. No Facebook and no sports or news sites usually keeps me enough out of it to stay pure... until now. No worries though. I'm a Cavs' fan, so I'm rooting for the Spurs anyway. I'll go home to watch the win.

Today broccoli is my new favorite vegetable to mix into scrambled eggs. Spinach is now transferred to sandwich duty.

Orange/redish color with chorizo, chick peas, potato, another item I believe, sour cream and hot sauce garnish. No clue how authentic it was, but it was really good.

New wheelset day! :D
It's a shame it was belated & dictated by UPS; FFS should've been delivered on Fri. :notamused: |
