Bikes: CENTURION / LOOK / Bianchi

I took a tumble on my bike a few weeks back which was a stupid "crash" since i was basically stopped but managed to fall over -- i think the bike just hit the ground at the right place which is where all this started. I didnt notice any damage at this point other than the RD being out of adjustment -- i didnt think anything of it. This is an N+1 bike so i dont ride it all the time, rode it this weekend and was having problems with the RD not shifting correctly -- My initial thought was that the hanger was bent or something along those lines. Noticed the crack and then took the wheel off to inspect more and it just cracked like in the picture. So glad i wasnt riding it when it did finally crack off like that or else i would have been seriously hurt im guessing. Soo.. yeah. lame.

Right? Haha Funny thing is -- I found another Look frame thats quite a bit newer for a really good price. Thinking about picking it up and swapping everything over since its all the components are basically new

it made me kinda angry, so i loved it.

without spoiling it, ill just say im glad it didnt turn out like a cookie cutter ending like 99% of the rest of **** out there.

another good example is a not so well known movie Funny Games. the whole time i wanted to jump through my tv and beat someone to death, so i thought it was really good

I'm in the LOVE it camp too. So many people argue that a Dad wouldn't do what he did. I believe a person could resort to that. And the twist of irony that followed just gutted me. It was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo"

Darabont and King are friends and Darabont said the only way he'd make King's book into a flick is if he could change the ending to his version. King approved it and is on record saying he likes Darabont's ending better than his own.

Here. This thread is fine to be off topic...if people want to talk about FGSS, they can go to the platform pedal/kilo geometry thread. lol.

I haven't seen either and the reviews say the remake is (unusually) as good as the original. I'll check it out. Thanks for the recommendation.

You ever see The Road with Viggo Mortensen? Doesn't get much darker than that one.

I'm a huge fan of Haneke but I had to make myself sit through the original. It crossed over the line that 7th Continent didn't quite. The remake screened here for a couple days and I passed.

Haneke wrote and directed both. The original is set in Austria, the remake in USA.

He was a bit of a sniveler.

Here's one that will rip you mind to shreds. About the best psychological thriller I've seen. That includes all of Hitchcock's and De Palma's work.

Not horror, not sci-fi. Hardcore mental gymnastics required.

God I hate accidentally killing things.

I'll blast game away all day but I have panic attacks if I step on a snail after it rains.

Yeah, I tell what. When I was growing up, getting chased by cannibals through the nuclear winter while starving and watching my dad die of tuberculosis, I sure as hell didn't complain.
