Haha, I saw the commercial for the Carl's Jr. one on tv, so I think its a real thing. They really need to cover the thing in gravy or chili sauce for the full american effect.

It's real. it's very popular in Ohio, of course.

Tough workout this morning. I've been at my apt 20min and I still feel like I got punched in the stomach. Ugh.

LouCypher 06-30-15 11:30 AM

Got word today this is taking up room in someones garage and has got to go. Gonna pick it up this week. Looks like a VaLite 60cm I think. Not too sure what to do with it yet. Think just fix it up and ride it geared.

Nacho cheese (artificial imitation simulated chemical cheese byproduct) sauce would be more appealing to the target consumer. :)

Got a some hiking in today (less than I would have liked). Excited to get out to the Catskills next week to get my first hike in there.

That would make a great episode of Beavis & Butthead. ("Thickburger..." heh heh heh)

Mumonkan 06-30-15 06:03 PM

Today's life on Strava:

Hey, who's this person who gave me kudos on my ride?
Oh, it must be this guy's son, they have the same the last name and ride together all the time.
Wow, he must be like 12 years old.
Well that's cool...this youngan is out riding and tracking his **** on Strava, good for him!
I hope I can be a positive influence for this kid...I should probably not swear in my ride titles for a bit, keep a low profile, don't want to offend anyone.
Let's look at this kid's accomplishments.
Wow, he's pretty fast...fast on a mountain bike too. Damn. I'm kind of jealous.
Wait a minute, this little ****er has more KOMs than I do.
**** this kid.

Mumonkan 07-01-15 03:39 AM

i just read that in the roadie zone and had a good lol

today the stretch of nice cool summer weather with low humidity is over. back to the pressure cooker. ugh.

T13 07-01-15 08:05 AM

Dude, up until a couple days ago we(Cleveland) were having rainforest weather. It was crazy. Pouring rain every day, 90% rH, it was miserable. And I can't keep up witht he stupid lawn. It's like a foot tall, even though I mowed it last week, during the one hour we didn't have rain.

I can't wait to get to the West Coast, where I won't have a lawn, haha

Yesterday, still counts....

Monday - out of work at 11:30 pm - rode 8.5 miles home, packed and showered and in bed by 1 am
Tuesday - up at 4:55 am, ready, out the door and on the bike at 5:35 am - 8.5 mile ride to work - cleaned up and changed and working by 6:30 am
Tuesday - out of work at 11:30 pm - rode 8.5 miles home after a heavy rain on wet streets, showered, had a snack and in bed by 2 am.

Still feeling the effects of that today.

That sounds like a brutal work schedule. Kudos for still having the drive to ride a bike.

Unless you live in a condo or townhouse, you will have a lawn out here. And, if you are northern west coast like us, that lawn will grow just like you described every spring and every fall. Did I mention how much we like our townhouse!

TMonk 07-01-15 08:45 AM

I think he meant Ca, like south of the bay area, where you're not supposed to water your lawn.

I'm sorry, I meant the Bay Area. Long morning.....

TMonk 07-01-15 09:21 AM

np haha. I prefer the weather of the bay area to SD myself, actually. I could see myself moving there eventually.

T13 07-01-15 09:40 AM

Yeah, I'll always love LA, that's where I grew up. But the older I get, the more I really like NorCal. The weather, especially.

Muffin Man 07-01-15 10:22 AM

Brown is the new green. The lawns at my school are crunchy.

Cost of living out here is really dumb, something to consider before moving.

Average rent of a decent 1br/1ba place on the peninsula is just under 3k/mo. More if you want to live in SF.

Mumonkan 07-01-15 11:28 AM

today im looking for jobs at work. seriously need a career change. sitting on my ass all day waiting for something to break isnt working.

why is it that entry level jobs requires 2-10 years experience? how the **** do you expect me to get said experience?

life, man. why?
