absolutely do this. funding local groups like this is what keeps stuff like this from happening. it raises awareness, and enables trails to be built, the right way. trail maintenance is just as important as money too!

look up kingdom trails in VT, it started as a few cowboy trails and now land owners are BEGGING them to build trails on their land. its one of the biggest destination parks on the NE

Wait, you got your bike snagged Tmonk?

Sure did, I'm confident that I'll get it back as well. It just may take a couple of months.

Sucks to hear.

Truth be told, it could've just as easily been me. Just with anything taboo, it was good riding.

Huffandstuff 01-30-16 08:23 PM

That's a bummer man, hopefully you get it back sooner than later.

The Cinelli x San Marco Volaire reissue saddle I had ordered finally came in the mail today. While it's a nice looking saddle and all, what I found a bit odd was its packaging. Besides the box, it was packed in just a plain clear zip-loc bag with a BTI inventory sticker that wasn't even correctly placed the first time around (it was labeled as white, while it was black)and had to be relabeled.

A bit impersonal of Cinelli but I guess it's what's inside that counts.

Is there a reason they can't run a fence around it?

seau grateau 01-31-16 02:11 PM

I'm guessing dollar signs and wildlife.

There wasn't enough of the stuff to go around between the CBP and everybody else

Pretty disappointed in my race today. ~30mph winds, and I got caught on the front a lot early on. Stuck with another group of riders that also went off the back, but we couldn't form a decent paceline in the 6 or so laps together.

Oh well, at least I have 6 points already, and should be out of the 5's pretty soon.

nice, just keep doing it!

It also may be a good idea to join a local club, like SJBC or something.

Today I un-NOS'ed some stuff while at the same time, angering the cycling "era-appropriate" gods once again.

Mad props man. I know people that can't do a century on road, in the summer, on a fast carbon road bike in that time.

Mumonkan 02-01-16 08:25 AM

we were actually going faster but my buddy ended up getting some real fierce cramps on teh return leg. im pretty happy with myself since the last time i went up there i bonked hard and my avg speed was like, 11mph on a road bike.

im makin good progress at this fitness thing

14mph on a fat bike? http://forum.blu-ray.com/images/smil...ed/bowdown.gif

Mad props on the fatbike ride. Makes me seem extra pathetic riding on my trainer.

Today I got N+1'd again. Excited for another made-in-USA track frame.
