that's because they're awful. I have one penciled in for W, but I may do something else instead as I know what the number will be. Its around 4.15w/kg, which is par for the course for me.
I'm gonna put a big push in over the end of Feb into mid March, hopefully I'll hit 4.25. But hey I'm not a big threshold guy and there's more to racing than numbers. Also Yay beer.

alternatively, you could just ride 3 min and tell yourself: "I could do this for another 17, I'm pretty sure. I'm gonna stop now."

I tried an interesting workout this morning, and felt pretty good about it:
3x12' with 30/30s alternating between 140% and 70% FTP. Easy math for me: 400/200w. It was tough, and my pacing needs improvement, but I completed it and felt good about it.

5-7', depending on feel. the idea was to be completely recovered between the sets, and still get back to my apt so I could get into work at a reasonable time
also, based upon the numbers that you posted above, I'm gonna guess that we're similarly sized. I'm 5'9" and 155lbs. i could hang out under 150lbs no problem but I lack the discipline, and cause beer. Focusing on the numerator is much more fun

Today I started working on a deal with a friend of mine to buy his bike. Would round my selections out nicely allowing me a bike for pretty much anything. Hoping to get it worked out by Friday. Pics to come if it happens.

Today I noticed that Track Supermarket has a new website.
I've also noticed prices for Japanese parts from the Japanese dealers such as Alex's and Track Supermarket have increased over the past couple of weeks. Probably due to the exchange rate with the Chinese economy as the root cause. I was looking at something for $275 a two or three weeks ago and it is now well over $300.

This is neither Porn nor JA so I'll put it here. Rideable bike made with a 3D printer, stainless steel, no less.
After looking at the video on the page I linked, it even appears to be fixed. Weird "organic" design, but really impressive what they can do by combining robots and 3D printing.

I'm off booze for lent. I'm not religious, it's just a convenient time to do some self-improvement. Drinking hard liquor does make you less fat than beer, but it's also way easier to get ****ed up, and that's what I'm trying to avoid, personally.
Word. I'm gonna give it a go (not drinking).

I actually took the entirety of January of drinking, to save money, lose weight and just set my mind to doing something.
It sucked, esp. towards the end, for social reasons. I had my gf with me for most of it (she only did 3 weeks), so there was some solidarity there.
