Today I am delivering and then working my regular shift at the hospital. Should be a nice long day.

I only polished it for the weight savings.

Today I shaved my head for the first time, and I only cut my dome a few times too. Not much different than a close buzz but zero friction when I rub it with my hand.

Nagrom_ 03-12-16 10:23 AM

can I rub it with my hand

Huffandstuff 03-12-16 02:32 PM

Told myself i'd go riding today, it's dumping outside so Im defeated from this winter, went and got coffee and a sandwich instead.

Not really. This is the first time I've been sick since we moved here.

When I lived in MA I would get sick more often in the Summer than Winter too.

all that sunshine and burritos and drinks in tiki mugs

have you altered your diet and behavior? those are key elements to a healthy life.

a true hallmark on San Diego!

TdM crit Cat3: I finished, which is more than what a lot of riders can say.

It was fast, and tough, mostly strung out. Also, I had a slow leak in the rear, was prob under 60 or 70 PSI by the end. That's OK, the next one will be better!

Mumonkan took me in the woods, and I now realize how much I suck at "mountain biking". Had fun though.

**** yes. Cycling and fixing bikes are things I know I will do for the rest of my life, give or take a few degrees of intensity. And it totally kicks ass to have a girlfriend that rides because bike dates are top notch and I'm a ****ing hero when she needs me to fix her bike.

(yesterday) I did my frist cycling event, 70 miles all on a single speed.
I was only one of 3 people riding single speed, and the only people who did the full 70 miles was me with a freewheel and my buddy going full fixed. Guys a monster.

Today my brother did the "Gran Fondo Ocean to Ocean" in Panama on a fatbike ( Mumonkan style). Not surprisingly, the only fatbike there.

He also got to meet one of our favorite cyclist "Big Mig"
Wish I could have been there. Happy for my little brother.
