Rergreased my headset and bottom bracked. Heading 4 hours south today to meet up with some other weirdos on bikes for some winter camping and tomfoolery

mostly "art bikes" that have been chopped up and a few classics, might be fun if it stops raining

I can't decide if I actually enjoy riding with other people enough to do a 40 mile group ride on Saturday. Meh.

Just go to the start, and if you decide that particular group ride isn't your thing, just say you have to go run errands later in the day and need to go home or something.

Or break away and never look back. Only works if you have 30 inch quads though.

It's a casual 'fun ride' and last year I rode with my wife so I was kind of just putting along. I might go and ride my pace and see who I end up with. I actually rode the same route last weekend which when I ride from home and tag the MUP loop on the end of it it ends up being 55 miles.

They're continuing to make changes. When they first switched, they had a 50 message inbox limit and now its at like 10,000, so I have a feeling more tweaks and changes are going to be coming over the next couple weeks as we get settled.

This box had my new skateboard in it. I bought this to get a workout land paddling. The pictures, like when I was looking at it online, really do not let you understand how big it really is. It is truly massive! But, I am waiting until after Whistler to try it, given I cannot picture getting injured right before trying to MTB at Whistler!

The new system must have a bug, it would only keep one pic at a time... Here is the board.

Today I realized that I should not stop riding consistently for two weeks (or more). A couple of short rides were about all I could muster this afternoon.

Skateboards should be between 7.5 and 9 inches wide and no longer than 33 inches. Pretty sure it's one of the ten commandments.

Overall, I agree. This "board" is, for me, about getting an upper body workout in a fun way.
