I don't know what Flight of the Conchords is.

Here in the south we cut an avocado in half, fill the cavity with balsamic vinaigrette and eat it with a spoon. It's better'n ice cream.

France insisted on about $15,000 in savings. This was in 2004 for a stay of two years (moved there for cooking school).

Today I'm looking at the Salsa website.

The Cutthroat is pretty nice. A Warbird is probably more realistic.

I'll probably get over it in a few days or a week or so.

WHAT?!?!

Today, I'm up early on the radiohead site, waiting for the tickets to the Santa Barbara Bowl to go live. *fingers crossed*

Yeah, I like the carbon Warbird, but didn't like that it was SRAM. But now it is also available with Ultegra, which means I have to resist n+1 creep. Then there's the new All-City Space Horse Disc, so I'm truly perplexed.

Yeah, I saw the Ultegra.

There are so many fire and hunting roads, gravel and packed dirt west of Atlanta, and they all connect beautiful road riding areas which are otherwise too far away to get to except by car.

I'm thinking about stimulating the economy with my income tax check. Sub 20 lb on the Warbird sounds like a blast. A bike like this would be great here.

I'm currently debating as to whether or not I want to ride the trainer or splash around on the mtb (in the rain) for my easy hour long ride today. Each sound equally miserable...

Ugh, this week has been crap around here and it's supposed to be miserable all weekend too. I enjoy Zwift, but I really do enjoy riding outside more. I might just have to suck it up and get a little wet this weekend.

TimothyH 01-20-17 10:37 AM

The inauguration has started.

I will run today.

The above statements are unrelated.

A couple of days ago I noticed Salsa bikes on the REI website. I had not seen this before.

I was in an REI store last night and the clerk told me that they are being trained in February. He also said that only 11 stores in the US would actually have the bikes in the store and guessed that Salsa did not want to anger nearby LBS' who might carry the brand. Some of the more popular models say "Online Only" on the website so this makes sense.

https://www.rei.com/b/salsa/c/bikes

Dividend anyone?

Lots of people hate on REI but everything I have bought from them I have been more than pleased with. Never bought a bike from them, but jerseys, clothing, lights, etc. They have great member only sales and online coupons. Would like to see them succeed and having Salsa is only a good thing.
