Today I (v2):
I'm faiiiiiirly certain that I'm going to purchase a Wabi Classic soon with in Desert Turquoise color. I'll also want a wheelset built for it (prob TB-14's and some basic cartridge bearing hubs) and I have everything else that I need. The wheelset will need to wait a month (or two) but I can't stop thinking about that frameset...
I'm also going to run Panaracer Pasela's in 28c. With GUMWALL. They make those right???
Application will be fixed gear road bike. I already have a beater w risers and a track bike. Drops, dual brakes, fix/fix hub w 15 and 17t cogs. 42t ring.

easy peasy.
I can like hills if they're narrow, twisty and interesting, but graded roads just really suck. Most climbs around here are graded.

In Atlanta there is nothing but hills.
Have to go south of The Gnat Line to get flat land.
@TMonk, y'all come down. We got some jazz clubs and H. Johnson for you.

I've ridden a lot of 42/16 on the road and it's a good gear. What I do now is ride a 15/17t fix/fix cog and swap the wheel orientation depending on if I wanted to go fast or commute, run errands, noodle around or otherwise not go too hard.
"Now" is relative of course, as I haven't owned a fg for road use in a good 15+ months now. Working on it...
also live jazz is good.

I ride 42-16 on my SS, seems pretty good all around. I can hit mid-20's on the flats before I start spinning out, and it's low enough that I can get up most of the hills around my way without muscling it too much. It's mostly on beater duty anyway though, so I don't really go out on it intending to crush anything.

Terrible morning today.
I noticed my fish were all huddled in one extreme corner of the tank. It turned out one of my aquarium heaters got stuck in the on position overnight and cooked some of my fish. Of the victims, were some of my favorites including a purple tang that I paid way too much for.
Warranty'll replace the heater but unfortunately, not the fish.

today some bros accidentally knocked my bike over when it was leaning against a wall at 7-11. the bar plug got scuffed and that seems like it. i saw it happen outta the corner of my eye so i'm not 100% exactly sure what hit the ground. hanger isn't bent and there's no scuffs on the rear der. it still rustled my jimmies tho.
