SS Canondale R2000 custom build -- pull the trigger?

I'm planning to upgrade from my home-converted 1984 Schwinn Tempo SS in the next few months, and I just came across this:

It's a R2000 CAAD4 frame (aluminum, carbon fork) with Sram Apex brakes, Vuelta Zerolite wheels with a Shimano freewheel cassette, and Sugino cranks. The seller is asking $500.

Is this a good deal? Will it be far too stiff after getting used to my steel Schwinn? What else do should I take into consideration?

Thanks!

Not worth 500 , I would pass on that, however I would buy it with gears, but even still for less

Step 1. Offer less/buy it
Step 2. Sell parts/convert back to road bike
Step 3. **********?
Step 4. Profit!
