Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I like the bike but you can not buy it from a store that uses that line in its advertising

Nice looking bike, hope they come with a long enough head tube to get the bars up to a sensible height (me no fit slammed no more)

Just wondering about all the components In it , this is a big commitment for me but I want a bike that actually fits me as the one I currently have is huge and really can't appreciate my rides . Btw I'm looking to get rid of my current one. Intend on riding the wheels off of it .

Congrats! Pista is a fun bike, I have the '03 version that I was gonna sell, but rode it a couple times recently and couldn't part with it. Not sure what style you like to ride, but if you're finding the bars uncomfortable you can try replacing the stock track bars/stem with a more road friendly setup for longer road rides. I put some Cinelli solida bars and a 6 deg stem on mine, along with a front brake and levers. Also experiment with the gearing to see what you like-I ditched the 48t chainring for a 45t x16.

Yes im finding the gearing a little too much , wher i ride is mostly flat so my go down a few teeth on the rear. i lowered my seat to see if more comfortable i will find out today when i ride it .
