i just replaced my bearings with a brand that the lbs had. i had picked up a set for the front just in case something went wrong with my trying to clean and service them.
https://www.endurobearings.com/produc..._bearings.html
but it being friday, i simply changed them out, end results, i'm heading back to Montano Velo to pick up a set for the rear..

I don't know what Kogswell is talking about. I have only put my brand on one track hub. The one I use now and have always used. There is no old vs new hub.

People might be interested in replacement axles too. With fatter dropouts on my new bike, I kinda regret chopping mine off to sit flush on my old one.

Ok, so can someone tell me whether they have successfully replaced their IRO hub bearings?
I think I actually looked at mine way back when and they were stamped 6000, but I can't seem to locate said marking at the moment. I don't feel like doing the work right now to take them apart to find out for sure, but the shop sold me a set of 6001Z's with the assurance that those were the right ones for IROs.
Am I good to go or should I take them back and get a set of 6000s? (yes, I'm also going to ask Tony.)
