Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Eh, like I said if I had the cash I might pull the trigger on it. It's not a terrible deal really. I mean I don't see why it's necessarily a bad idea because it'd pretty good condition

Got a pair of brand-new in the box Shimano SPD pedals for $25. Guy bought them online, and ordered two pairs, thinking they came one to a box.

They'll be my first time riding clipless (or whatever you call them), so I'm a little sketched, but glad I got a good price on them.

It is not a very steep learning curve. Once you get the hang of it, you may wonder how you ever rode without them.... Sez the guy who toppled over clipped in yesterday.

Definitely needs some TLC but $100 is $100.

Soma Rush frame + fixed gear setup, everything but the seat

Soma Rush complete except for seat. Definitely looks worth saving for that price.

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why this bike won't sell (it has been around the block, and then some). NO, it doesn't look great in its current form, NO, it's not for everybody, YES, the saddle position and the stem look like ****, but it's a Merckx Corsa Extra pursuit bike with a full Campy (okay fine, not matching, but still) group! It's maybe two or three trivial changes away from looking goddamn sweet. What am I missing here?

Probably more appropriate for the C&V forum: Lot 150 vintage racing bikes (Bianchi Colnago Coppi Chesini) from 1945 to 1990
It looks like the price is negotiable, but note that the $80,000 also includes: "I also offer a FREE STAY in ITALY so you can come see the bikes (meals and airport transfer included)."

I would, at the least, try to make an offer on this if I lived even remotely close to Portland, OR.

A great money making opportunity for a person who has a good amount of money and a good amount of patience. At 80 grand, each bike is about 533 bucks. I wonder how "open to offers" the guy really is.

Do you by any chance belong to the Steel Is Real - Classic, Vintage yama-yama Bikes group on Facebook? If not, you should join...you would get a lotta love for your Supercorsa & if you posted this bike there it would get bought PDQ.

Have fun...
