Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Hate to have to do it but there are three nasty dogs on one of my routes and I've had enough.

Panaracer Pasela PT folding 700x25c from RG. Currently running 700x28c front and 700x32c rear on my chrome Soma Rush, but plan on moving the 700x28c to the rear and mounting this new 700x25c on the front to liven up the handling a bit.

Also, just ordered a Clement Strada LGG dual compound folding 700x32c from UC to use on the rear of my Salsa Colossal Ti. I wanted to get a Continental GP 4-Season in 700x32c from RG, but found out that it is a unicorn.

Conti seems to be like that quite a bit there good tires go out of stock quickly and they cannot replenish them fast enough. There was a time when my old shop couldn't get Gatorskins for a long time and it sucked. QBP says the 4 seasons in 28 and 32 won't be back in till Mid March.

The Conti GP 4 Season in 700x32c has never been available and is not even shown anymore on the Conti website, so I agree with Scrod that it's a unicorn. That's why I've given up and bought a Clement Strada LGG 700x32c instead.

I bought a plastic praying mantis from Retrogression, and Scrod was kind enough to throw in a pair of MKS GR-10s and All-City Crayton toe clips.

Diacompe Dirty Harry lever in this nice blue/gunmetal color and a KMC Freestyle Z BMX chain. Apologies for the chain slack, the cog is super worn so w/ the new chain it sounds like a buzzsaw if there's any tension in it. Got a new Soma cog coming in the mail.

I didn't buy it, but my GF got me a bell. Man I really should have bought one of these years ago. It seems people are much more receptive to the bell than me bellowing "ON YOUR LEFT!"

I took the bell off my bike and now I just yell "Strava!"

People understand instantly and get right out of the way. Some even cheer and give the thumbs up.

Weed was almost decriminalized before a government change around 2006 I believe. Then we had 9 years of a very anti-weed government. But it's still very much illegal, except for medical stuff. The new government is promising to legalize recreational weed though.
