Okay I am a big believer in not selling the hype but selling the product. If something does not have a logo and the name is lame we call it Private label. It covers every comany running out there and trying to flood the market with the same item with their name on it and jack the prices up.

Lets talk details everyone. First off Rather its a barenuckles, Private label or Nussano its still the same frame. To make a statement like "You can get a Bareknuckle just about anywhere, but NESSUNO is available
_exclusively_ at Business Cycles. Wouldn't you really rather have a genuine
NESSUNO?"
just seems wrong. I am just a little more then bothered that someone can say a atement like the one I pointed out. Heres another fact for you. This frame wholesales for $350.00. I am not sure but I think we throw shipping in on ours. If not I am sure we could and not die over it. To call a frame something else admit its the same name and jack another $100.00+ shipping on to the equasation is just wrong in my opinion. I only have one of these frames and its not Black so do not consider this a sales pitch but actually a warning do not buy in to the hype. I am sure after reading the posting I will start carrying the sexy Black Models. God knows I just saw they have Bubble Gum Pink, I am all over that one. Anyone want a IRO bike? I am thinking killer pink for me next. lol

These frames do come in: White, Black, Yellow, Khaki Green, and Bubble Gum Pink
Sizes are ranging from: 48-62cm in even sizes. this is measured center to center.

I just though the community here is just that and should be informed as a community. I am sure the buyers/ Riders will love this information and the dealers here will beg to get this post pulled as fast as they can. You guys have the ammo now go fire the gun as need be and keep the skinny side down.

Laterz, Neal
sounds to me like you're guilty of doing the same thing he is by posting here: being a salesman. nothing wrong with advertising your ****, and it looks like you both realize barenuckle *is* a ******y name. now here's a fact for you. you're frames are roughly $40 cheaper, but your lack of selection and availability won't keep me from spending an extra $40 elsewhere. so after putting all talk aside, to the fitting frame go the spoils.

I've bought quite a lot from John Dacey at Business Cycles over the past few years, and I have to say that John is as straight and good as they get. His prices are competitive and his shipping and service are first rate. Above all, he takes care of his customers. He's convinced me not to buy items at times, which says a lot for him.

When we go out to buy frames, there's always enough uncertainty. We can't all go to a local builder with complete information and have the ability to talk at length about a bike and inspect it personally. Well, if I were to order a track frame unseen, John would be the first person I'd go to. He knows his stuff and he's scrupulously honest about it. For a small increment in price, you won't have to deal with a frame that always makes you irritated at the buying experience or at the frame itself. Go Nessuno.

Bikes: S&M Black bike, Old school Cannondale MTB, De Rosa TT bike, Etc.. I own a shop.

Someone posted: Yeah the Nessuno pretty takes the Cake for me. In fact, I had that business cycle pic as my desktop background for a while.
$595 isn't too bad, but whoever sells them on Ebay probably has them for less. Just a guess.

So theres the Genius math I was using. I tookthe poster at his word.

I just checked the site he has them at $539.00+ assumed shipping. Like I said before and I will say again. He has been there along time and this is a hobby where the riders do not need deal's so why not pay more. That seem's smart to me. (Yes that was a joke) . This would lead me to believe either 53-11_alltheway was wrong or John lowered the price,. Again the important thing to me is I want to know where they are built for sure. If they are Italian then way cool I will carry them Hell I will order my self a Pink one and build it up. It they are made in Taiwan Then I will shy away from them. I am sure the conversation with Anthony from EAI just got mixed up. But I will know tomorrow.

It's tomorrow and they are Italian made. I have my Pink one on back order for when they come in.

AFAIK, "made in" refers to the final location of assembly. I know more about this from the world of prosumer audio than I do from bikes, but I assume the same principle holds true. If Rode (and Australian microphone company) buys all their parts for a given microphone from China, but does final assembly and testing in Australia, they can say the mic was "Made in Australia." I would assume that the EAI frame is put together, QT'ed, painted or boxed in Italy but most of the manufacture is probably done in Taiwan. At the very least, I would imagine that the Italian company is purchasing their tubes from Taiwan, or from Deda who probably manufacture in Taiwan.

So I think that this is one of those you're both right situations. The bike is probably assembled or finished to some degree by an Italian company in Italy, and made of tubing from an Italian company whose factory is probably in the far east.

Go go globalization.

I know it's rare to see someone come back when they are wrong and admit it but here we go:

I called Anthony and sure enough I was right. I made a mistake We werer talking about Taiwan frames and the subject came up about the Nesunno, Private Lable, Eai Bare nuckles frame. I assumed it was the same conversation as we were talking about only Taiwan frames. The EAI Frame is accurate to the core. John is 100% right on this one. The frames are Italian made from Dedda tubing.

Hey at least I still have 44cm B-123 Nitton Cromo Track bars existing to be right on.

I got my butt chewed a few minutes ago and had to change our ad as well as retract my stupid statement here about the frames origin. Oh and the frame/ Fork still wholesales for $350.00. Pink is ot released yet, and I have Black on order. I said I would carry the frame if it was Italian and I am sticking to my word here.

Thanks for not bashing me to hard before I could get back.

you misunderstood. i don't think anyone was ever bashing you. we were merely defending the reputation of someone who has been an honest and fair businessman to people on this board who have dealt with him.

Yes. Nessuno, EAI, and Bareknuckle are all the same frame. Certain resellers have just adopted different names for it.

I actually built one today. The chain needs 2 links but is getting replaced next week anyways so no sweat there. The pink chain for it is on order right now. I had to grind the drop out to get the Tensioner on. I was a little disapointed over that part. Now I have an ugly drop out on one side. Nothing a little paint can not fix but still it's not pretty to have missing metal there. Anyways here's my fast cheapie build of a Nesunno, Eai Bare Nuckles, Houseoftrack.com "Private Lable". Call it what you want its just pretty. Oh and not Cliche A$$ Black.

Let me help you make up your mind.

The Kogswell G frameset -is- only available in 54 and 58 (center-to-top).

But for $430 you get:

- a lugged frame
- a brazed fork w/ a nice crown
- brake calipers
- an alloy, 1" threaded fork
- shipping to points in the USA

For an extra $45, you can have one of our new 120mm rear hubs to match.

Here's a photo of David Greenblatt's G (he used a CK headset)

Email me at kogswellcycles@yahoo.com and I'll fix you up.

The Track King may not be able to type, spell, or form coherent thoughts....but I still like the way he put that bike together.
