Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Looks like you've put a lot of work into it, and done a good job. Can't say I like your colours though (too young and brash for this old phart), but that's okay. If that's fixed gear, or you have any aspirations in that direction, get get some foot retention. Overall though, well done. Thanks for sharing.

I see the nod to old school hot rods. Nice!
8 ball valve cap adds a nice touch to it.

While I find the wheels quite ugly, it is a very well executed build! Props.

welcome to the addiction

I think his choice on tires fit the look he was going for better. Not to mention I had those on one of my bikes and not even close to 2000 miles and I had them fail on me.

His white walls do copy that car well. What type of failure did you have?

The puncture protection split and my tire lost its shape.

one of my friend told me the same thing about the slicks, because originally i was looking for other then the whitewall michelin's but then i went to someone who makes alot of these fixies a year and he adviced me not the use the thickslick's but to go for durability and buy the michelins
