Opinions of the Masi Fixed Uno Riser
I'm kicking around buying a 2014 Masi Fixed Uno Riser and would appreciate feedback and the opinions of any forum members who have one.

I have a 2012 Uno Riser and it's a decent bike for the money. Really depends on how much you're paying for it. I got mine for less than half of retail from Craigslist and it's fine. The components aren't anything to write home about, but those can be replaced a little at a time. I think there are better/worse bikes for the money, but the Masi is decent and will get you from A to B reliably and with a little style.
I've ordered a few new components. Eventually, I'm going to replace everything as I'm able and I'll most likely just swap it all over to a new frame. Maybe a Wabi or something. For now, though, the Masi is serving me well and I quite enjoy it.

I have a 2011 Masi Special Fixed and it's a nice ride. I bought mine used and I've put probably 800 miles on it this summer. I wouldn't pay full price for a new one, but if you can get a discount then it may be worth it.

I agree. I wouldn't pay full price for one but if you can get one lightly used or new with a discount jump on it.

I have a Masi 2010 speciale fixed.
It's my main rando ride and has a pile of miles on it... 4 sr series, a few 1000km rides ,and a couple of 1200km rides.
If I make it to Paris, it will be my PBP bike.
I swapped out the saddle for a Brooks, got a new wheelset , put on new handlebars, new pedals...all goodies for comfort.
And I've replaced the chain a few times, overhauled the hubs and the headset, and have gone through quite a few sets of tires.
I'm quite happy with the bike.
Truth be told, I could have gone with the stock components and have been just fine...well,maybe not the saddle, but I like to change things up.
